No, that was not the sound of my hand swiping my credit card. I’ve been good. On the other hand I’m very, very tempted to purchase a pair of unaffordable shoes. Again. I’m so bad!

It started out innocently enough. I had asked my boyfriend what I should write about for today and he suggested I touch on the topic of shoes with zippers. The pictures I posted of Alexander Wang’s collection, in one of the pictures I had posted from yesterday, had a model wearing a pair of booties with zippers on the front. Plus, I had been eyeing MICHAEL Michael Kors’ Berkley Sandal for $128.95.

And while looking through Nordstrom, SAKS, Neiman’s, and Barney’s I found these heels with zippers.

Here are two MICHAEL Michael Kors Berkley Bootie (MICHAEL Michael Kors, what a weird way to name a line), both going for $148.95. I’m not exactly fond of Whipsnake version, but maybe someone will adore them.

After looking at the MICHAEL Michael Kors Berkley Sandals I moved on to L.A.M.B. Nayuta Sandal. I think I like these better than the MICHAELs. This pair is going for more starting at $370 and comes in brown or red.

The next are Sergio Rossi patent leather platform sandals. I don’t like them at all. It’s too much bulky platform for me and they’re going for $850. Not that that is always an issue, but I better like the shoes for $850!

I moved on to my favorite shoe designer Christian Louboutin and his Zipette. It comes in black or nude. I am a little disappointed in the design, especially in black. The nude isn’t as bad, but it’s still a type of platform that I’m not too fond of. These are going for a whopping $995!
